Will my FIXD sensor work without FIXD Premium?

Yes! With our free version, you can continue to use your FIXD sensor to diagnose check engine lights in seconds. The free version tells you what the mostly likely cause is, how severe the problem is. 

As a Premium user, though, you have access to even more benefits to help save you time and money on car ownership. 

For example, suppose you just received a HUGE repair shop estimate. Before you authorize the work, you can call up an unbiased, friendly mechanic at no extra charge. Your FIXD mechanic can tell you if the estimate is too high, and if the repair shop is trying to charge you for items you don’t really need.

Does one Premium membership cover all of my family’s cars?

How do I renew my FIXD Premium membership? 

You do not need to do anything. Your FIXD membership will automatically renew, and you’ll be able to enjoy your Premium benefits uninterrupted. 

How do I cancel my FIXD subscription?

If Premium is still not right for you, you can cancel your subscription here. You will retain access to all of your free FIXD benefits for as long as you own your sensor. 

Please note, if your subscription is through the Apple app store, you cannot use the above link. Instead, you will have to follow these steps:

Apple Devices

1. Launch the Settings app.
2. Tap on your Apple ID.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap the Subscription you want to cancel.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription.
6. Tap Confirm when prompted to confirm that you want to cancel your subscription.

Refunds aren't initiated automatically, so here is a link on how to request a refund via Apple.

Android Devices

1. Launch the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap Menu -> My Apps -> Subscriptions and tap on the app of the subscription you’d like to cancel.
3. Alternatively, tap Menu -> My Apps -> Tap the app of the subscription you’d like to cancel -> Tap the app’s details page.
4. Tap “Cancel” and “Yes” to confirm the cancellation.
5. Now, the status of this Subscription has been changed from Subscribed to Canceled.

In order to receive a refund for your FIXD Premium subscription, please contact either Apple Support or Google Play Support. Once your subscription is canceled, you can continue to use the free features of the app along with your FIXD Sensor.
